Title: 899ci HD Si Issues

Has HB determined all of the fixes to correct 899 issues?  I understand there are hardware and software problems that need to be corrected.  Until the water temp cools off and the bass get active I'm through fishing and this would be a good time to send mine in.

I haven't heard anything from HB about any updates or fixes for the problem.  I'm pretty happy with the unit, but it sure would be nice to be able to use the HD side imaging and also have the fish ID work as advertised.  I am still trying to figure out how HB could put a unit on the market with these know issues.  I'll be doing a lot more research (and looking at different brands) when it comes time to replace or upgrade the unit.

There is a hardware fix for the 800kHz Si/Di sonar issue.  You will need to contact the Humminbird Customer Resource Center folks to set up getting this done to your 899ci HD Si units.
