Title: hours on units
Post by: cary on August 24, 2014, 06:03:30 PM
what is considered a lot of hours on 898 units. I have found 2 units for sale, one with 300 and the other with 200 hours.

That is not alot of hours. The hours are not very meaningful, Make sure the units function fully. 2nd hand units have no warranty  no mater how low the hours are.

Hi, i dont think that is a lot of hours, and i dont think the unit will lose capacity or preformance just from having beein used a lot. my 898 is now close to 600 hours and i think it oreforms better, with its updates and my understanding of how to read the images. :-) as lo.g as the unit looks good and has been in good care i don think the hours matter for anythhing else than telling you how much  time you soend on the water. :-)
