Post by: garm on August 02, 2014, 04:07:11 PM
has anybody had trouble with the wire pulling lose at the transducer. Just put this one on in march I was going to ajust the transduce and noticed the wire loose I can see a red wire. I have it mounted on a pontoon boat. I do leave it the water would that cause it to break down the glue seems like it is not in there enough and I can not see why it would come loose I but enough slack so the cable has no pressure on it.would water geeting in it cause any plomlems

Call HB ...1-800-633-1468 ...

Do not use that xducer as water may get inside the housing and short out the channels...

It is not normal for the wire strain relief to move in any way that you can actually see the wires inside...
