Title: Onix 10 CISI making me bang my head...
Post by: Cannibul on July 31, 2014, 09:21:15 PM
Picked up my boat Saturday.  Upgraded all the software on Sunday.

When running at any decent speed the unit will lose contact with the bottom.  Then the unit will crash/power off and go to a dead screen.  I've checked the power cable and it's tight.

Also how do I turn off that Fusion bar at the bottom?  Some how it got turned on and I'd like to get rid of it.

There's not many users here that have the ONIX series yet...

Greg is our info source for these new units ...he will probably check in Monday...

Cannibul,
When the ONIX unit loses contact with the bottom and crashes, can you power it right back on or not?
Where is the transducer mounted on your boat and is it the only transducer connected to your ONIX 10ci Si unit?

I don’t know about the Fusion bar as I don’t own a subscription to it.  I imagine it is somewhere in the setup menus though.
