Title: installing si tranducer on ipilot Terrova TM

In order to utilize the cable groove on a Terrova TM shaft, it has to be dismantled to run the transducer cable through the head. I am confident and comfortable with doing it myself, but if I open up a brand new TM, will it void my warranty?
