I have updated from my 997 on the console to a 999. What would be the best option to be able to run the 997 on the bow while using the 999 at the same time while trolling? wondering about interference if I ran off of two transducers.

There really is no best option other than to turn one off.  There is no way to guarantee that you will or will not experience sonar-to-sonar interference.  If you do see sonar interference on the 2D sonar try turning on and up the Noise Filter menu.  If you see sonar interference on the Si/Di sonar try keeping the trolling motor pointed more straight forwards as opposed to 90 degrees right or left (pointing the trolling motor either direction will point the Si beam on that side back towards the transom mounted HDSi transducer).

Is it possible to use the 999 transducer and spiit the signal to both the 999 and 997 units to use them at the same time?
If it is possible, which cable would be used.
 Thanks,
 Ben

You can use the US3 switch to use 1 xducer on 2 head units ... But only one at a time ...

I would try both units in their own xducer at each end of the boat ...

You may get lucky and not experience crosstalk ... If you do ... Follow Greg's advice and turn On and Up the Noise filter under the Sonar tab ...
