First post....
Have a 998c si with version 6.74 SW. Is it possible and what does it take to hook up unit for NMEA2000 TO A 2002 Merc 200 EFI

Welcome to the Humminbird Side Imaging Forums fishnnnn.

For the Humminbird side of things you will need the AS-ETH-NMEA2K accessory.  I don’t know what you would need to connect this to the Mercury motor but the NMEA2K accessory has to be connected to an NMEA2000 backbone.

Nmea2k connects to Ethernet port on hummingbird.....don't know how long the cable is as mine is still enroute to me, however you will also need a backbone tee and drop cable which your marine dealer should have in stock or at least be able to order it.   Im assuming your boat is already wired with the NMEA2K system, if not you have a lot more wiring to do.
