Title: 999 and 859 and ipilot link network ??
Post by: bradknight83 on May 12, 2014, 12:41:30 PM
Ok So I have a 999 si Hd unit on console and just purchased a 859Hd non si for the bow. I also just purchase the ipilot link for my V2.. I was told I need Ethernet 5 port switch, 2 adapter cables and 2 Ethernet cables. CHECK all ordered...

So Will I run an Ethernet cable from 999 to the switch, 859 to the switch and ipilot link to the swich? or is there something else also??? I also see there is an update that will let u view the side imaging on the non equipped 859 off of the 999 transducer?! How is this working for people?

Thanks guys

Welcome to the Humminbird Side Imaging Forums bradknight83.

You are correct on your connections.  The adapter cables will go between the units and the Ethernet Connection cables.  The i-Pilot Link will come with its own connection cable (no adapter needed).

Sorry, I haven’t used a unit with last week’s software update yet.
