I bought a used 787c2 and can't register it for some reason but anyways I was looking for the latest update cause person before set it to original format and can't use my new lakemaster chip without update plz can anyone help

I don't see that unit listed in the downloads. Maybe Greg can help later today.

Welcome to the Humminbird Side Imaging Forums daredric.

I sent the software 5.420 version software update file for the 787c2 unit to the e-mail address you have listed with this web site.  It will come to you through TransferBigFiles.com

This is for an external GPS type unit right?
I ask because the 787c2i (internal version GPS Receiver) uses a different software update file, though it is the same version level.

That's the same e-mail address I sent it to yesterday.
The message should be in the trash/deleted folder but I went ahead and sent it again anyways.

Since the site has changed so much, can you tell me where I can find a change log for that Greg??
My buddy has my old 787 and ifi t has the WP mgmt. feature - it might well be worth him to update......

I don’t know that there is a public change log Robert.

We made three different “787” model units:
787c – the last software update was version 3.050
787c2 – the last software update was version 5.420
787c2i – the last software update was version 5.420

The Waypoint management software came out in software version 5.840 for the 700 series products, so none of these 787 model units will have the update.

The 787c2 is when you had me "hooked" Greg!
I was curious to the WP Mgmt - so that shoots that in the keester! lol!
My buddy will just have to pony-up for a new one some day....AFTER he finally breaks this old work horse!
