Title: Sunken Barge off of New Smyrna Beach
Post by: Saltykayak on April 26, 2014, 01:38:06 PM
This is known as Reef #6 and is only about 7 miles from Ponce Inlet. Back in 2011 this barge was sunk and I finally made it out to scan with my new 899. As you can see in the picture, I went over the middle of the barge, swung around and went back over it...

I thought those looked the same and saw your prop wash in the turn.  How did you get that color palette in the 2D side...never saw that before.

thx for the shot

Hey slabbacks... When I pull the video into Humviewer, I make the window into Grayscale the then adjust for the best contrast. Then, if I see something worthwhile to making a 'snapshot', I save it to my desktop. I then open up a picture editing program and make that picture into a Negative (invert the colors). Most of the time, by inverting the colors, you can see a bit higher definition.
