Title: 2005 Nitro NX882 Transdeucer Installation

Where on the transom would be the best place for 798ci SI transdeucer, console installation?
My bunk boards (4) are close to bottom step. I have a jackplate and an onboard ladder on port side. I am leaving for fishing trip next weekend and need to put on the boat this weekend.See photos of Port side, I would like to mount on starboard side, but dont have pictures. You can see the bottom and will be duplicated on starboard side.

Really need to see a picture of what the transom looks like from the side (and lower) and to better see where that ladder is; but my guess is that your best mounting location would be off the jackplate, under the jackplate (if there is enough room) or next to the jackplate mount.  All of these locations would require the installation and a DualBeam transducer (XP-9-20) and AS-Si-DB-Y splitter cable to get any depth readings at a fast boat speed.
