Title: Looking to install a tranducer on another boat..but which one do I buy?

I have a 898 and 858 on my 18ft aluminum boat and I want to just switch the head units over to my tuffy. Which transducer or transducers do I buy, because mine are not the HD units. Are they the same transducer as the HD units?.. Could I get away with only running one transducer for both? I heard guys using some sort of Y cable.. Thanks Guys.. Im hoping I get this installation right on this boat so I can get as good of pictures as you guys post your units are getting.

     Your looking at two transducers. The 898 is sideimage, the 858 is downimage. The HD refers to the quality of the display(better).

     I'll let someone with more experience advise which transducer.

Is the smaller unit the 858c (2d) ... Or the 858c DI ... ??
