is there any way to have down imaging with ipilot link

you would have to mount the transducer on the trolling motor.

i-Pilot Link is not sonar and other than the transducer being mounted on the trolling motor, one has nothing to do with the other.  So you could have an i-Pilot Link trolling motor with a DI transducer on it.  I would be cautious about this though the auto steer trolling motors can spin around and damage the transducer cable if you are not careful.

I use down imaging on my boat with I-Link.  I have the transducer mounted on the back of the boat and when I use I-Link to go to a spot on the down image when I arrive I am off by the distance of my trolling motor to my transducer   This threw me for a loop when I first started using the goto feature. I fish from the back of my boat so this works for me.
