After reading another post on using a 12v monitor to see what is on the humminbird I got to thinking. Does anyone have the pin out for the video output on a 1198csi. I have a Marcum LX-9 and I was thinking that if I could use that for my monitor it has its own battery and is capable of being in a boating environment. If I can connect it to the camera input I would just have to set it in the camera mode and the person fishing in the front of the boat would be able to see what I see on the 1198 in the back of the boat. I also need to find out the pin out of the LX-9.
Any info or suggestions will be appreciated.

I can give you the pin out for the VCC-1 Video Output cable and you can figure the connector sockets for the 1198 from that.

Thanks Greg, I talked to Marcum today and it doesn't look like my plan will work. I was told that the LX-9 has a video output but no video input.
