Post by: Huntfishman07 on February 17, 2014, 02:16:11 PM
I just bought a humminbird 698si, and unsure as to where i need to mount transducer. I have a 03 Triton sf19. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Here is good info on several different models of boat installations...

Most glass boat owners opt to mount the SI xducer a little higher on the transom to protect it from damage...

Then use the AS SIDB Y cable and a shoot thru hull XP 9 20 Dual Beam for high speed 2d readings...

Nice boat...:)
