I upgraded my 998c SI to the 1198c SI. I took the SD card out of my 998 and put it into my 1198. I transferred all my waypoints to the 1198 and all the images are still on the SD card. Why doesn't my images show up on the image view/record screen? (I get a red ø symbol) The images only show up when I hover the cursor on a waypoint. The were all created with the 998. This is due to the differences in the pixel count of the 998 and 1198 displays. The thumbnail image (when you hover over a waypoint) is the same size from unit to unit so that will continue to work, but the Screen Snapshots are at a different resolution and so will not display.

ok Thanks! that makes sense. Do you know the resolution of the images for the 998 and 1198. maybe I'll play around with the image resolutionin in photoshop to see if I can crop and edit the pics to get them to display.
Edit: ok that didn't work, but I'm gonna continue to play around. If anyone has any ideas please let me know. I changed the resolution from 998's 800x480 to the 1198's 800x600 and saved the pic in the same name and same format.
