Title: Do the cheaper SI transducers work with 800 series and up?
Post by: Rotus623 on December 30, 2013, 09:50:37 AM
Hey guys I mainly just use 455khz, dont touch the 800khz, so I was wondering, if I use the XTM9SI180T on my trolling motor for the 898 would I still have all the capabilities that I would with the bigger SI transducer? Are they compatible with the 898si? http://www.ebay.com/itm/Humminbird-XTM9SI180T-Trolling-Motor-Transducer-710204-1-/181137060956?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0&hash=item2a2c9c345c (http://www.ebay.com/itm/Humminbird-XTM9SI180T-Trolling-Motor-Transducer-710204-1-/181137060956?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0&hash=item2a2c9c345c)

Yes, will work, but does not have the 800khz SI as stated.  Should be fine!
