Now all we need is for all of them to actively post. I am a mod on a fishing web page with close to 2,000 but only a few make posts regularly. Most come to places like this for information, which is what I did for a while. Now I enjoy reading everyones posts.

This is what happens to most forums. I am on a diving forum with over 20,000 folks. Most just lurk. However, this forum can only grow as I see it. We are seeing some very fine folks share knowledge and that grows the new guys. I, for one, am thankfull for all that has taken place here and all of the free information that helps our team here. Thanks Robert, Martin, Harry, George. This does not mean that others havent. I like the different topics that keep information specific to the topic. Thanks to every one. chuck.

I do not think it will be long before the membership will double and triple. The one thing that I see with this forum along with our twin "unofficial" is everyone and I mean everyone appears to be courteous and willing to help.
I have been on other forums where a lot of questions go unanswered, very few go unanswered on this site. The more members we have, the more question and the more we will learn.
Most important is that there is no such thing as a dumb question, or a question being asked too many times. Whatever the question it will help others that may be too embarrassed to ask. And when questions continue to come up it will continue to help others.
Right now I am on 6 forums and they all help me learn, but I enjoy this forum the most.

How fitting that Eddie Kendrick was the 1000th registered user!
The forum has really grown. We made it to 1000 in 10 months. Pretty cool!

Browse this forum and see what a great bunch of guys are here and all of the information they share. Again Welcome aboard. Chuck (sonar2000)

I am guilty of mostly lurking, reading and learning. I try to post only when I have a question or think I might have something to add. As someone already said, there are no dumb questions and we can all learn from the problem someone else is having.
The family atmosphere and acceptance of questions and answers or opinions from both old and new members will continue to encourage new folks. I hope we avoid cliques and keep the welcoming feeling.
