Title: 1198 and 998 Trip computer and odometer function?

I tried a search in this forum and in FAQ's, which netted no results, so asking my really stupid question here..

I'm wondering if my 1198c SI and a 998c have a "trip computer" function somewhere?  My primary interest is I'd like to keep track of how far I'm traveling in the boat...during the course of a day (trip log)...and over the course of several days (odometer).

Also, on other pure GPS units I've had...average speed, top-speed, moving average, etc., have been a part of this functionality.

After lots of poking around in set-up mode on each unit, I've had no luck finding anything like this functionality -- which surprises me for such advanced GPS units.   Am I missing something?

In2Deep,

Yes, there is a trip log feature that will provide elapsed time, distance traveled since last reset, and average speed.  It is in the setup tab on the main menu.

On the 998 and 1198 units the TripLog function is only displayed as one of the Digital Readouts on the left or bottom of the screen.
