Who is using their 798 on the ice?
How have you found it with the newest firmware?
Any concerns or issues?
What have you been using for settings to get a good view of you jig, bottom and fish
I used mine last year with 6.250 and it worked great but have yet to upgrade my software.

hence my reluctance to upgrade until i can get some feedback on how well the new firmware is working on the ice
Must be someone out there running 6.740 with the flasher

Suggest you download a copy of 6.250 from the downloads section to a blank SD card.
Then if you do upgrade and your not happy, you will be able to go back to a known version that works.
