Title: Newbie with some problems.....

Getting some "white Lines" on my unit when trying to use the DI screen....Any advice??

first thing to do is make sure absolutely everything on the boat is turned off, if the problem goes away,  turn things on one at a time to see which is the culprit.  may even be the charging system on the motor?   start there.

This anomoly has been reported with the newer software versions and seems related to the "DI Enhance Sharpness" being set to any setting above "Off"...

With the DI view showing ... Press the menu button 1 time to open the Xpress menu...

Cursor down to "DI Enhance" ...
Cursor right to opent the "DI Enhance" subwindow ...
Set the "Sharpness" to "Off"...

HB does know about this and hopefully they are working on a fix ... 

Report back if this doesn't fix your issue ...

Rickie is right, turn off the Sharpness for the DI sonar and it should go away.
