I have a 05 Nitro NX882 w/Merc XR6 150. I just bought the boat. It has a Lowrance LCX15, color/GPS on bow, transdeucer on the back and a Lowrance X47 on console, not sure where the transdeucer is, maybe on the inside bottom hull. I want to remove the X47 from console. Should I put the HB798 on console and put transdeucer on transom? or should I just move the Lowrance LCX15 on console and put the HB798cSI on the bow, transdeucer on the MG 67 trolling motor? If i put it on console I will have 2 transdeucers on transom. Suggestions, please??? Not sure which is the best way to go??

Decisions on where to mount SI should "partially" depend on where you will get the most benefit of the SI feature with your preferred style of fishing....
1 of SI's biggest advantages is finding "new" structure out to the sides of the boat...
If you cruise around with the big motor and look for new structure to mark with GPS ... And then drop a buoy and cast to the buoy ..SI on the console has advantage here...
If you spend most of your fishing day at the TM casting and searching for new structure...SI at the TM has advantage here...
