Title: Weathersense install

Hi,

Was thinking about purchasing one and installing at the console. Read somewhere the unit shouldn't be in direct sun, do folks just mount under the console? Installation pretty simple?

That is where i put mine seems to work fine there, or in the gunwale beside the console.

Welcome to the Side Imaging Forums Honkus.

Either of the places that erocks4u posted would work as would any other location that is out of direct sun or water splash, spray or submersion by waves.  I know of some that have mounted them in their storage lockers as well but you don’t want to use any place that is sealed or it will not be able to read barometric pressure changes.
