I am ready to order a 1198 csi. Amazon has one for $2512.05. They also have another seller that has them for $2295.95. this company is, The Digital Oasis located in Jacksonville, Fl. This is the best price I have seen. Does anyone know about this company (the digital oasis)? I want the best buy I can get, but I certainly want a new and complete product with the factory warranty. Any advise will be greatly appreciated. Thanks , Bill.

Ive ordered an 998csi and a 1198csi from universal mania.com, they would most likely be a lower price then what you have found and they are great to deal with. they did have a coupon for 200.00 off and free shipping when i bought the 1198.

Thanks for the advise. I just ordered a 1198csi from universal mania. They had a $160.00 coupon through BBC board. The final price was $2138.95 with free shipping. I got confirmation that it shipped Friday afternoon. I also ordered the ram heavy duty 111u-c mount for it. I will mount it up front with the transducer on my minn kota fortrex trolling motor with a transducer shield to protect it. I will leave my 898csi at the console with the transducer at the back of the boat. Hope it all works out right without interference from anything. Bill.
