Title: 898 HD SI vs 998c SI

I'm looking at pulling the trigger on an SI. The 998c SI and the 898 HD SI are currently selling for $1499. Which is better in your opinion, the extra inch of LCD screen on the 998c SI, or the HD LED screen on the 898? I need SI for gillnetting salmon in shallow salt water. Are there other differences than the screen that I should consider?

The only difference between those two products are in the size of the display and the backlighting.  The 998c Si having the larger display and the 898c HD Si having the brighter LED type backlighting.

go with the bigger screen.   you won't regret.  the screen is like a garage, never big enough.
