Title: XNT 9 DI T
Post by: rnvinc on May 04, 2013, 02:27:47 PM
What was the original technical reasoning for the 2d beams of the XNT 9 DI T being 200kHz and 455kHz...instead of the standard Dual Beam frequencies of  200kHz and 83kHz...??

(Yes I know HB makes the XTM 9 WIDE DI 20 T which has the standard 200/83...but the XNT 9 DI T came out first)..

I don’t know the answer to that Rickie.
Maybe it was the size of the 2D element?

Maybe they had walleye fishermen in mind with the 16° degree angle for better target separation from the bottom...??

I don't know either...
