Looking for a used Navionics Hotmaps Premium Canada map card for Humminbird 997c.
Can be an older, but compatible chip, I just want something as the lake I live on in Ontario isn't even included on Unimap ><;
So the fish finder says I am driving the boat over land all the time.

Better make sure that your lake is on Navionics and at what resolution. If you go to any good larger sporting goods store they will allow you to look at your lake to see if its worth it. I did it and was really surprised at what you don't get for your money. I will instead buy a program like Reefmaster and do my lakes myself. I downloaded the trial and did a small section of where I fish and I couldn't believe how much detail and info I got out of it.

Thanks for the advice Jdee.
I have a feeling that you are probably right about the level of detail i'd get with this lake. I will most likely try out reefmaster as well and make areas I fish myself. Do you know if there is anywhere online (maybe in this forum?) where you can ask people with a unit and chip to take some screenshots of your lake to see the detail?
I just wish I could import maps myself, I have a government made bathymetric map of the lake with 1m contours. It's beautiful and I carry a paper copy in my boat.

Wabi goon lake is on the nav chips and here is a link to all lakes listed in Ontario
http://www1.navionics.com/MobileSingleLakesContent.asp?State=ON&Area=Canada (http://www1.navionics.com/MobileSingleLakesContent.asp?State=ON&Area=Canada)
I don't own nav premium so I can't help you on the photos, hopefully someone else can. Maybe let us know which lakes you fish?

Ya, I knew Wabigoon was on the list. At this point that is the only lake i'm interested in, I'm sure the detail is passable but not great. Was just curious to see what it looked like on screen.
