I am looking for any thoughts on what is causing the line or cloudiness on the LH side water column? I can see structure so I don't think it is the motor. Any thoughts?

There seems to be a stronger interference on the bottom ( older ) readings and then it looks to be starting to get less/lighter, which leads me to believe that it's the motor as you slowed down.
Try shutting off the motor and coasting to see if it goes away and that will tell you if it's the motor.
If that is not the case it could be some sort of turbulence caused by the boat which would also do the same thing as you slowed down.
You might want to include more info on your setup and maybe a photo or two.

Thanks for the input...attached is the install, maybe I am getting bubbles from the rivets...it's one sensor so that sort of confuses me why one side would do it,but i don't know how it actually works in that sensor.

Is the motor "trimmed up" out of the way when this happens...??
Set the SI range to 10 ft and see if the distance from the SI centerline to the "cloudiness" indicates the same distance from the xducer to the motor itself...

yep, when the motor is out all the way it happens too, but it seems to decrease when speed is below one...Someone mentioned that maybe the screen on the livewell intake may be an issue as well. Ill take it off and see.

If this is speed related than it should go away completely when the motor is off, trimmed all the way up and the boat is drifting. If it is still there than it could be the livewell intake screen or something else sticking out from the transom of the boat or we have even seen where the transducer itself can cause this.

Not the screen I took it all the way off with no change. I raised it up some more to try to get better high speed, which I did...about 32-35 mph before it went nuts depth wise. I am guessing it is air bubbles....however I have seen other people's photos with that same Cloud on the same side.

Greg's advice of checking while drifting will indicate if the lines are caused by bubbles of the hull...not moving = no bubbles...:
If lines disappear when drifting...it is bubbles from the hull...
If lines are still present when drifting...there is a blockage....
You can temporarily mount the xducer to a broom stick and stick it down in the water to verify if there is any problem with the xducer itself...
Typically (in most cases) these types of lines showing next to the center line on the left side is bubbles or blockage..

I have the same issue. I think mine is the rib a few inches from the ducer on the left side of my aluminum Bass Tracker. I'm going to move mine over to the right and see what happens. I'll post info afterwards.

I had the same issue . Mine would do it while just sitting on the trailer. I updated my firmware to 6.640 and it went away.

Could it be the Thermocline layers in the water?

If it were a thermocline layer than it would show up in both the left and right Si sonar.
