Title: Mounting the xhs 9 hdsi 180t

I have just purchased the 898si hd and have a 1997 Ranger R70,
would appreciate any help as to the best place the mount my
transducer

Pappy, the best place is where it works. Now having said that. Check the forum search tab and also the Gallery installation photos. There is a lot of previous posting on just this subject and on this boat.
It is good to ask the question prior to installation as there are issues with the location, or where it should not be located. Location is everything with these 180 transducers..
Some of the other guys may post their experience but you may find a faster answer in the search or Gallery.
