Title: Help! 1198 C si Software

I loaded the new version of software and I can no longer open my scans in humviewer.  I am in the middle of a search for 2 drowning vics and need to get the old software or figure out how to open these files,  help please!

The new version 6.600 software added some new bytes to the header in the recording files.  I dont think he has updated HumViewer to read the new files yet.  I would recommend using Son2XTF converter and opening the file in Deep View.

If no one else has helped you, older versions of the unit firmware are available on this site under the software downloads tab (last one on the bottom of the list - left hand side of the main screen). For the 1198 they go back to 5.21.

If the software you need cannot be found there, you can send me a direct e-mail requesting whichever software version you want.  Be sure to tell me the model number of your Humminbird unit as well.  I will send you a message back from TransferBigFiles.com that will have a link for the software.
