Hi,
What is the correct orientation of the 2 connectors inside the GPS Puck? Looking down from the top, I have green-white-black-red for the wire colors left to right. Unfortuntately these can be installed either way. (Humminbird should have keyed these connectors!).
I'm trying to install the GPS and I was trying to see if there was an easy way to remove the wiring from the GPS puck side. Since it's epoxied in, I think I will just cut the wire at a convenient spot and install 2 mating connectors.
Sorry if this is a duplicate post.

The connectors are keyed so that they connect properly in only one direction. You just need to know which goes where so that it all works again:
Try Red, Black, White, Green (left to right with the wires going away from you).

Thank you Greg. That's what I needed. Just an FYI, they aren't keyed in the sense that they can be reversed since there's 2 separate modules each with 2 wires that can be plugged in the reverse way. They really should be one connector that way there's no question. (I design this stuff for a living, or so I think).

Figured that was what you meant by keyed but that would take two different types of connectors which we do not like to do (common parts are easier and less expensive as you know). I don’t think we could use one four position connector either as they would not fit through the bottom housing. Originally these were not epoxied in place but we had a few in the early years of this design that leaked so started with the epoxy to ensure that they did not leak. Maybe in a future redesign we could use a larger hole so that a single connector could be used. The folks that assemble these would like that!
