Title: Casting rings

I have a 798Ci Si combo and on the nav menu i see an option called casting rings.what is this? my manual doesn't mention it. Your help would be greatly appreciated. clifweb

I read somewhere that the casting ring feature was actually a Kevin VanDam wish list item....

The casting ring feature is an adjustable ring that shows around the waypoint on the chart view that would allow you to stop your boat on the casting ring...and be within a "cast" to your waypoint....(to keep from spooking the fish that may be residing at that waypoint structure)...
