It just tells you what the barometer is doing every hour. ..It's ok. I don't rely on it as much as I thought I would.

It's pretty neat.

It saves the long term trend, and you can quickly
tell if the pressure is steady, rising, or falling.

I’ve seen it correctly predict a rain storm coming in.
Of course actually using that information to safely get off the water in time is another matter…  ::)
but I believe what it is showing me now.

I love mine.   I got it free as a special add on when I bought my 787. I ignored it, mostly because I fish when I can, untill one day...

One Saturday I fished all day, sunup to sundown.  The first 7-8 hours fishing were awesome, catching bass, pike, musky, perch, everything.  Then the fishing slowed down.  Then the fish turned off completely. Using the same methods in the same area would not produce a bite, even though I was still marking a TON of fish. After an hour of no more hits we even tried other baits/lures for 3+ hours. The 2 guys with me were as dumbfounded as I was.  After looking into the barometer reading and trend from the weathersense I had noticed that at the time the fish quit biting the barometer had dropped like a brick.

Needless to say I pay alot more attention to what the trend is and where its going.  It has saved me countless hours of useless fishing time. Although just being out fishing is nice, catching is better.
