Title: GPS antenna upgrade

Does anyone know, if the new 50 channel high accuracy Gps antenna will update any faster than the stock antenna?  When i am under trolling motor power (going slow) the gps fix seems to be very slow.

The AS GR50 should be faster then the AS GR16, it will give you more accurate position readings.  Also, the latest update 4.700 improves the updating speeds.

The 4.700 software that George referred to is not available for all units just yet.  Many will get this as a software upgrade in January I’ve been told but not all of the models that will get it.  This enhanced GPS refresh rate will work with the GRHA, GR50 and GR16 GPS Receivers (but not the older GR4 and GR4RD GPS Receivers).
