Title: Navionics Platinum
Post by: crazyaboutcoues on February 14, 2013, 10:32:09 PM
I bought a used boat and it came with a 997c. I decided to buy a Platinum sd card so I can navigate lakes that I am not familiar with. Problem is, I can't figure out how to get the 997 to read the platinum SD card.

Is there a process to make the 997 read the navionics Platinum card? Please help I have a tourny in lake Amistad in a couple of weeks and I need to be able to find the channels so i don't smash my lower unit...

Thanks

tommy

When you put the SD card in, you should see
a message that it's loading charts.

If you are trying it at home, then you may not
see any additional detail on your map page.

You will have to scroll over (using the arrow keys) to a
lake/river/reservoir that is on the chart to see the
additional chart detail.
