Title: 6.6 Problems with recordings

I have been doing a lot of side imaging recording this winter on my 1198.   I loaded 6.6 on both my 1198 and 1197 last night.   Today I recorded about 2 hours worth of imaging.   I went to use my SonarTRX to build mosaics and today's files won't import.   I can import files recorded prior to today's just fine.  So I put 6.18 back on both of my units.

Update:  I can use the SON2XTF and then SonarTRX works, but the image looks as though the sensitivity is turned way too high.

Jim,
Perhaps this issue is a sign of a remedy for the old and persistent recording gap problem? If so, we should welcome the 6.6 upgrade and wait for adjustments in the 3:rd party viewers.

I guess my problem is if true, that "the buzz" is HB changed the recording format, BUT did not document it in the Release Descriptions.

Plan, document, code, document, release description...

Plan: Do not do 4 major features(360-Imaging/GPS-HS/iPilot-Link/and maybe SI-DI enhancement) in ONE RELEASE.

Same problem with my 1198c & 998c with V6.600 impossible to open the .Dat file on Humviewer or Deepview...

Yes, the HB format was changed in 6.6.  I will be updating the HBSI converter soon and i am sure others will as well.
