has any one seen a sturgeon in the side scan mode?
-
Well, no. Part of the reason that I bought a 998 was to locate Paddlefish (aka spoonbill). We snag them in a Spring season and snagging is exhausting. Spotting your large sturgeon on the Columbia seems like a snap, but I have not had much luck locating our 50 lb spoonbill. I would hope that someone has located sturgeon as the technique/image might be similar for me in MO. Good luck!

Wow, nice images and you even see the paddle (I think). Maybe I need to work on my adjustments. Thanks a ton. The images to depth relationship surprise me. I would have thought that this size fish would look like a blimp on the screen. Come down to Hannibal sometime.
