This is my last resort to get some help in fixing a problem
I just installed a brand new ns 25 with a GR-3 unit in my small boat
I know this is not a new unit in the market but I had it in the box new without installing it for all this years.
Long story…
The Gr-3seems not to be working because on the ns25 screen says gps not connected
All the wiring was checked. It is ok
I am just looking to see if there is any unit either taking the place of the Gr-3 that i can connect and use this for a while until I can gather some funds to upgrade.
I will be retiring soon and need to watch my funds.
I can read schematics but I cannot get even one from hummingbird.
Could it be the battery inside the GR-3 unit that is dead or weak after all these years ?
Any help will be appreciated
I know I am trying t revive a dead monster but it was never used and I need to make it work at least as a Zombie for a little time.
