Title: Retiring Feb 1

Hi folks. 
I am planning on retiring on Feb 1 this year and just wanted to take a few sentences to thank those who have helped this forum over the years.
The forum is only as good as its people and especially those who are willing to share their knowledge.
Robert Gecy saw the need in the beginning for such support in view of HB not having a way to talk with the users.
He has put together something that all who lurk, read, post or otherwise, have found a remarkable friendly forum and of great benefit.
Good luck to you all and keep sharing your knowledge here so that others may learn.

Congratulations on your retirement Chuck.
You deserve it.
I plan to retire soon too, but I don't have an exact date yet.
It's the day that I hit the Megamillion lottery. :)

I hope you can enjoy doing the things that you
really want to do.

Your on the water experience using Humminbird units with SAR has
supplied us all with very specific knowledge that you just can't get from
a book.  Also, you have been great with moderating the forum, and keeping
the trashy solicitors under control.

So,
Are you still going to be a member here, and check in from time to time?
I hope you do.
If not, we'll all miss you.
I know I will.

Let’s be clear about this Chuck: you are retiring as a moderator on this web site but you will still be around, right?

   Congratulations on your retirement.
   Thank you for all your help both individually and as site moderator.
   I'm 9 years into retirement and it's still the best job I've ever had.
