Title: First time out with 998C SI
Post by: DuctsZ7 on January 06, 2013, 10:20:52 PM
Any reason why my right side view appears a little dark?

All my right side screen shots are about the same...could it be right side of boat sitting lower in water?

either depth dropping away from you on the right or shore line.  Looks like the first.

looks like bridge pillings on both sides. Nice bait ball and a few fish.

I see you are under the I-30 bridge on Lake Ray Hubbard.
The location should put you in the creek channel.
The sides of the channel rise quickly at least 5', so that explains the bright gold color.
I can't tell from my map if it tapers back deeper.
I think leeb's first choice is right.
I'm confused as my map shows a 40' channel and your image is 24'.
