Title: 998c si settings

I new to this whole si thing.... If I'm trolling along at 1.5 mph what would be a good starting place to have all my settings at?. Thanks in advance.

455 khz.

scroll speed 3,'

sensitivity 11 is a starting point.  I like auto, but they took that away with an update. (im not updating till Im forced to)



if looking for structure, set range to 100-125.

if looking for fish,   50-90..depending on the depth..

Sorry, I dont use either of them, but I know that for 2d, you start with the dual 83/200.

DI is a function of your settings for SI..   although DI takes more sens than SI..typically

If you are new to Side Imaging and looking for reco's on settings check out Doug Vahrenberg on YouTube he has posted extensively there.  He is extremely knowledgable and knows these units inside and out.  Go to your fav web browser and paste in the following address to start learning.
