I was wondering if I could use a pc-10 power cord with my 1198si. It would only be used on the bench in the shop this winter for GPS maping/waypoints. I had an extra pc-10 cord and did not want to buy a pc-11 if I did not have too.
thanks

From the looks of it, the only difference is one has a built-in RF choke.

From what see/thought, it should work. The pc 10 would not filter out any interference i may get. Which is fine for what I plan on using it for this winter as a learning aid and go get more familiar with it!

the pc 10 will work. it has no filter and I think its one gauge smaller in wire if I remember right. but the plug is the same as a pc-11

Right, the PC-11 uses 18 AWG wiring while the PC-10 uses 22 AWG wiring. Difference is in the current carrying capability of the wire. With the sonar shut off though I think that you will be fine.
