Title: Waypoint and Track Datum - What is a point
Post by: bbordeau on October 03, 2012, 02:26:03 AM
I wanted to know what data is exported when I export a waypoint or track. I specifically would like to include the time with each track point so that speed can be determined. I would also like to export the depth if possible (it showed up as zeros last time I did it). Is there a setting where I can control this?

Thanks
Brian

About the only thing you can do to control this data in the tracks is to make sure and clear the current track before you start making one you want data from and then save that track (do not let it just continue running).  This should allow the depth data to be exported with each trackpoint.

Not sure about the times for each tarckpoint as that does not get shown in HumminbirdPC.  I would guess that the information is there but someone else would have to speak up about how to go about getting the data.
