Can a laptop be connected to a 798 hd si?

Hi Ideee

When I looked in the manual, I do not think that it is possible. Your unit has no ethernet-out  :'( and via NMEA-out you get only the position.

Don't all 2011+ Hd models have Ethernet built in so that Dr Depth or other mapping softwares can be used live on a laptop?

May be, then you can use DrDepth.
I do it and it works great.

Anyone know how to do the hook up between laptop and 798cxi hd si ?
