was wondering if anybody hs run this set up? I am trying to figure out the results of running this set up in the 50/200 1k setting. i fish and dive in salt water in florida. i already have a 788 and wish to upgrade to a 1k sounder and link it to the 788. I like the idea of staying with humminbird systems, espsecially since they have added radar to the mix as well rather than switching to a more salt water known system. the 788 has worked well. My hull type (catamaran with a foil) along with trim tabs eliminates any option for a transom mount. The standard humminbird 1k will require tons of glass work to build a box and raise it so i am able to trailer. The M260 sounds like it will solve all my problems but I have seen and heard nothing about anyone running this type of set up.
