Hey Guys,
I have the Humminbird 798ci HD SI Combo and for some reason the waypoints won't go on the SD card. When I save the waypoints on the water the unit says they are saved but when I check them on my PC at home, they are not there. Am I doing something wrong? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks

Are you recording while your taking the snapshots? If not, I think the data is sent to the unit, not the card.
You would need to export all data to the SD card to see it on the PC.

Thanks for the reply. I'm not recording. As far as I can tell, the waypoints are still in the unit. How can I export to the SD?

Hey Guys,
I found it.
FYI:
Question: How do I export waypoints in my unit to an SD card?
Answer:
1.Power on your unit
2.Insert an unlocked SD card into a card slot on your unit.
3.Press the menu button twice
4.Right cursor to the Nav Tab
5.Scroll down to Export All Nav Data
6.Right cursor and select Yes to confirm save tracks, waypoints and routes.
7.Remove the card from the card slot.

I tried what I found on my last post and it doesn't work. My unit does not show "Export All Nav Data". What do I do now?

Look under your NAV menu for Waypoints, Routes, Tracks.
There should be an option there to select all Waypoints,
then Export.

I was wondering what version software you were running after I read your post bassin101. ITG is right: that menu function has been moved.
To Export your Nav Data:
- Go to the “Nav” menu tab in the main tabbed menu system.
- Scroll down to the “Waypoints, Routes, Tracks” menu by using the Down Arrow.
- Open this menu by using the Right Arrow.
- Scroll up to the “Options” submenu by using the Up Arrow.
- Open this menu by using the Right Arrow button.
- Select the “Select All and…” menu by using the Down Arrow.
- Use the Down Arrow to select the “Export” option.
- Use the Right Arrow to select “Yes” to answer the question shown on the unit display.
