Maybe a silly question but does the interlink have an audible alarm for something? I didn't find anything in the manual that says it does. The last time out my wife and I were searching for the source of an elecctronic beep that seemed to be coming from under the console where the interlink is located. No annuciators that I'm aware of under there. Seems like it starts when increasing the throttle as an intermittent alarm, and at full throttle becomes continous. I know, I know...but I have noticed recently that I will see on the bow FF a message that the interlink system is disconnected, and then another message that it is reconnected. Power issues perhaps?? thx.

maybe it's the buzzer for the outboard.

I don't know anything about the interlink.
I think LocDown may be right.
It could be a low oil or overheating outboard alarm.
Before taking your boat out again, I'd check the oil level, and
see if anything is obstructing your outboard motor water inlet.
My brother had an outboard alarm (2-stroke) that went crazy one day.
One of the oil injectors was clogged or something.

No alarm on the interlink.
Get the motor checked out!!!!
On most O/B-I/O motors the alarm is the the motor overheating or raw water intake clogged.
With the increase of alarm sound with power increase sounds like a worn impeller.

Ok guys. I did look for the water discharge at the motor and it seemed good. The motor was the first thing I tho't about. I know there's oil in the reservoir, but I'll check it out just to be sure. If I can't find anything obvious, I'll take 'er in. thx.

My buzzer will sometimes beep when i just turn the key to on.

Yeah I've never had this go off before. I need to do some online searching as I bought the boat used in '02 and don't have any manuals, etc. The motor (jetdrive) is an '05 merc 90/65 and also no manual, but I think I can download that.
