Does Humminbird post or print the new changes made when you update the software.

PS went to Humminbird web site no FAQ for the 5.840? But I now about looking there.

HB does post on their web site but sometime it is not all inclusive of the complete update.
The FAQ section should contain old information of previouse releases..

Sometimes the information about the software is in the release notes where you download the software and sometimes it is in the FAQ's.  Not sure which specific model you are looking for the 5.840 information for but it should be the same for them all as it added the Waypoint Management system features and menus to the units:
