Title: Got a new 1198cSI - do I need a Quadra-Beam transducer?
Post by: grey2112 on June 07, 2012, 08:42:35 PM
What is a Quadra-Beam Plus transducer? Can it be used with the 1198c SI or is it only intended for non-SI units to sort of simulate it?

The Quadra-Beam is compatible with the 1198, I have one for the transom and trolling motor but use them very little, the SI transducers does pretty much everything I need.  They make a good back up if I break one of the SI transducers.
