Title: 898c SI Installation Question
Post by: camaro3984 on June 04, 2012, 10:49:40 AM
I am looking to buy a 898c SI unit and install it so I can move it between the deck and the console.  What cables and devices do I need to make this work?  I don't want to have two transducers if possible.

Check the HB web site and select accessories. Look at the US3 switch, and considering installation and location you might need an extension cable..

It will be kind of pricy..

This just let you select a single transducer between two units.  Let me check on the GPS..

I think i can use the US3 switch for the transducer and the AS SYSLINK cable (720052-1) for the GPS signal.  What do you think?
